Celebrating the Life of Founding Pastor M. David Fetter ~ Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 2pm

Beloved members of Abiding Love Lutheran Church,

You are invited to give thanks to God for the completed life of our Founding Pastor, M. David Fetter, as we celebrate his life this Sunday afternoon. Full details are below.

You are also invited to worship this Sunday at 10 a.m. where, in honor of Pastor Fetter’s preaching ministry, we will listen to the last sermon he delivered as the Senior Pastor of Abiding Love Lutheran Church. This sermon recording will take the place of the sermon for this coming Sunday.

Please join me in surrounding his family and one another in love and the hope of the resurrection as we pray: Eternal God, you gave David a new birth in baptism and entrusted him to us to know and to love. As we thank you for the life we shared, help us to release him to your mighty keeping. Bring us all to that day when we shall stand in your presence with all your saints in light eternal; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
